Pulp Alley – Villains of Medusa

+++Nobody expected that operation Sea Lion will end like that. The Prime Minister is missing, German troops spread over England and the war in western Europe seems to be over. For Oberst Dr. Ilsa Faust and her secret Agency “Projekt Medusa” the situation could not be more advantageous. The time to seperate the project and all achievents from the germans has come. They now can act in the shadows, even more than before, blaming the germans for everything that they have to do to praise the great old ones.+++

Intimidating, clever, detemined. The leader of “Projekt Medusa”, D. Ilsa Faust is just as cruel she is beautiful.

After a long break of painting 32mm miniatures I did the first one for my Pulp Alley league.  I wrote a little background for an agency which came out like a mix between a Chthulu cult and Hydra.

Team Yankee AAR – Soviet vs West Germans

Attacking the airfield

To reduce NATO air superiority, Mayor Solts T64 company was ordered to attack an air base around the outskirts of Bremen. The airfield then should be used as a forward operaition post and supply line for troops advancing further west.
Solts company spearheadet deep into anemy territory to get as close as possible to the air base to start the attack. The company was dividet into two parts to attack from both sides of the runway.
Solt uses his binoculars to scaned the surrounding for enem tanks. Operation command informed him that the West Germans deployed Leopard 2 tanks and jaguar tank destroyers near the base, a threat he should not underestimate.
“Comrades, I see one of the big tanks near that building ahead of us. Tanks and tank hunters are main targets for now. Everbody, attack!”
With a lout roaring the T64 advanced forward, followed by their AA support while the BMP scout sections prepare to unleash their ATGMs.

Alien vs Predator – the hunt begins v2 painted stuff and review

I always was a big Alien and Predator fan and ever since I’ve been playing board and tabletop games I wanted to get some cool miniatures from that franchise. Prodos Games finally released a board/ tabletop game with some beautifully sculpted miniatures. Last week I got myself a copy of the 2nd edition board game and the Alien Queen expansion (I will present her in a different post).

Now most of you know that Prodos released the first edition of AvP: The hunt begins via Kickstarter and performed really bad concerning all the backers who still didn’t receive anything. I was not a backer back then and I dont want to write about that topic so I’ll just give you a little review of what I think about this box with the main focus on the miniatures, in comparison with the first edition box of a friend (who didn’t receive his via Kickstarter but bought it himself, whoops last KS comment, promise).
