To free up some space on my working table, I decided to finish up Katana and Killer Croc from the Batman Miniature Game. I’ve been working on them way too long and now i got several other projects, which need the space.
Although both of them are really cool minis, Katana was a pain in the ass to assemble.
I managed to finish my 6pdr gun for my british Bolt Action force to get some more anti tank value. The gun and crew is a Blacktree model. I just added some stuff from the Warlod Games plastic sprue. The base is self made and came out way too big in the end for gaming purposes. I added a road sign and tree stumps to cover the big space. To give it a bit of flair I painted an “HD” on the roadsign. The 51st Highland Division got their nickname “Highway Decorators” because they painted their initials on signs all over the places they went through.
the crazy and the good
Today I finished two of the girls for my Batman Miniature Game crews. Harley Quinn which either can be part of the Suicide Squad or a Sidekick for the Joker crew, and Batgirl which is the first support for my Batman crew. It was a pleasure to paint some brighter colours for a change. Both of them are nicely sculpted, but a bit difficult to paint. In Harleys case because of all the small details which are important to capture the character from the movie. With Batgirl on the other hand, mostly in blue and yellow, you have to be careful not to make her look like some toy.
I finished Batman and Deadshot from the Suicide Squad game box. Since I will mainly play a Batman crew and I want to paint these nice miniatures in pairs of two, I chose to paint Deadshot aswell.
